Our method begins with a trench dug in front of the existing footing and pitched at a slope of 1” every 10'. This allows for proper downhill flow to either gravity fed discharge line or a super siphon pump. The 4” perforated drain tile is then laid in the trench, which is filled to footer level with drainage stone. On cement block foundations, two relief holes are drilled at the first course of the block to allow any residual water to flow easily into the system and be directed away from the foundation.
